Give each conversation a purpose, and keep the right context close at hand.
Meet your main assistant
Your main Mitra is the default assistant for requests that don’t specify another one. It works with the context available in its conversation and the services you’ve connected.
Other assistants let you keep conversations focused on a particular topic or purpose. The assistant editor includes a name, topic, and avatar.
Give Mitra useful context
Describe what you’re trying to accomplish and how you want Mitra to help. Specific instructions are easier to act on than a broad request.
Include the details that matter: who is involved, the desired outcome, timing, and anything Mitra should confirm with you first.
Choose the right assistant
Open the conversation for the assistant you want to work with. Continue related requests there so the conversation stays useful.
From an MCP-connected AI app, ask “Which Mitra assistants do I have?” Then name an assistant in your next request. If two assistants share a name, use the ID returned by the list.
Memory and conversations
An assistant uses its conversation as context. You can review the Personalize with Memories setting in Mitra’s data controls.
MCP requests and replies are saved in the selected assistant’s conversation for context, but they don’t appear in the app’s chat view. Calls made through MCP still appear in call history.
