Troubleshooting

A practical starting point when a request, call, or connection isn’t behaving as expected.

Start with these checks

  1. Confirm you’re signed in to the intended Mitra account.
  2. Check your internet connection and reopen the app.
  3. Read the exact error or approval request rather than resending the task immediately.
  4. For a request that may have started an action, check its status or call history first.

A call hasn’t started

Finish calling setup in Mitra, then check Settings → Connectors → Phone. With Making calls set to Never, no outgoing call will be placed. With Ask each time, open Mitra and tap the Call button.

If you requested the call through another AI app, approving it in that chat is not enough. The approval must happen in Mitra.

A connection isn’t working

Check the connected account and any pending sign-in prompt. For MCP, confirm the URL is https://mcp.getmitra.com/mcp, reconnect, and complete browser authentication.

Start with “Which Mitra assistants do I have?” If tools still don’t appear, ensure the connector is enabled for your chat and supported by the client. More MCP troubleshooting →

If Mitra reports too many MCP messages, wait before making another new request. Check the status of existing work instead of resending it.
